The National Spatial Planning Data Repository has been developed to ensure up-to-date integration of most government project data for efficient and effective spatial planning. It also enables sharing of spatial data throughout the country and across the public and private sectors under the auspices of the Spatial Data Infrastructure Act (Act 54 of 2003).

LINK TO SASDI ELECTRONIC METADATA CATALOGUEDRDLR (NSPDR) provides access to metadata descriptions contained in the SASDI EMC and links to its own data and that of others in the community of practice, in the belief that this will be useful and in support of Open Access to scientific publications and data. We cannot be held responsible for the quality of data provided by third parties, and while we take reasonable care in referencing these data sets, the content of both meta-data and data is under control of the third-party provider. All metadata records for spatial information held by the NSPDR shall at all times be referenced directly from the SASDI Electronic Metadata Catalogue.
DRDLR (NSPDR) shall not hold any metadata records. DRDLR (NSPDR) is not liable for any omissions, shortcomings, data errors and incomplete or erroneous metadata records. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTSHardware:
The workstations minimum requirements are CPU: quad core i5/i7, Ram: 16GB, Graphics Card: Nvidia Quadro P1000, Operating system: Windows 10, Hard drive 250GB SSD.
Software:
The workstation must have an operating system installed along with all the usual software that come with the workstation when purchased. These must be kept up to date to ensure the efficient function of the workstation.
Moreover, the workstation must be able to run the commonly used web browsers and ensure that these are of the latest version released. These include:

Internet Explorer
Internet Connection:
A minimum Internet connection speed of 10mbps upload and download is suggested to get the optimal functionality from the solutions. This will allow for fast working and reduce load times.
Login Credentials:
The user that wishes to use these solutions must be given login credentials from the System Administrators in his or her respective municipality or department.
Third Party Material: A permission to reproduce or adapt copyright protected material must be acquired from the third party concerned.
